As for local artists, they are exceedingly popular. We have the wonderful Perrozompopo, Division Urbana, Clara Grun and other groups, but these are deeply popular. Among the younger people here (11-21) rock is really popular, along next to metal. Reggae, especially on the Caribbean coast, is extremely popular, and always will be, beside local artist like Kali Boom, Carlos de Nicaragua and Zabu.
