Answers: Beaches a I will say the province of Guanacaste you will find hundreds of beach there, also Monteverde (rain forest) Arenal Volcano and lots of clubs, bar and discos.
Depending on the time of your visit and budget you can do lots of things from rafting to bungee jump... hiking and much more.

i recomend, arenal volcano, parque nacional manuel antonio, playa hermosa, conchal, tamarindo, playa grande, (guanacaste) also you can shift to san carlos and do bungee, monteverde for a canopy, also limon, if you stay within the central gorge, you can go out to great places, el novillo alegre, contained by sana ana, for meat, el pomodoro in escazu, italian, malls you can progress to multiplaza, in escazu, in attendance are a lot of fun things to do! hope you relish! comes and enjoy costa rica by going to montezuma, mal pais, conchal, tamarindo, monteverde, la fortuna, poas volcano, turrialba, manuel antonio, dominical, uvita, chirripo, tortuguero, cahuita, puerto viejo, rio celeste, rincon de la vieja, braulio carrillo... near are many places and things to do within each rotten them. restaurants, quite a few also but the best are outside of san jose... non-fancy restaurants that they confer you good food and not that expensive
Go to Santa Teresa shoreline on the pacific coast, it's a surf paradise not too crowded, full of divine and fun places where to walk and grab a bite, nightlife is awesome too, it's not deeply expensive, people is intensely friendly
