I'm going for a ski trip to portillo chile, does anyone know what its similar to near?

i'll be going around september/october, is there anything really considerable i should know/pack/find out?

Dinner (more like supper) is to some extent late, after 8 pm
Bring some nice outfits (nothing too fancy), something classy but apathetic (for your busy nights)
Hmmm...try some of the local drinks and have lots of fun.
