What are the probability of seeing a snake within Costa Rica?
I heard surrounded by the forest, wild natural life we can meet near a snake:) Thats so normal for Costa Rica`s furious life.. But what more or less the cities? Since i have snakefobia and i don`t wanna rouse up with a snake by me. Are nearby any snakes in the Cities (San Jose) ??
Answers: You are not credible to see a snake in the city unless you shift to a zoo :-D
Snakes do shy away from people and even within the countryside, if you are noisy on a trail, probability are they will slither away before you can see them.
In common is harder to see snakes in the highlands than surrounded by the lower, warmer coastal areas, but even surrounded by the coasts you are not likely to see a snake surrounded by populated areas such as cities or small towns (or a beach resort, for that matter).
I hold a friend who has snakefobia, and the individual place where she is wary about the snakes is when she go to visit some kith and kin in rural San Carlos. Otherwise she does not verbs about them.neither would I.
Lived within Costa Rica for 7 months lived in a city and worked contained by a very remote southern location. I saw one little snake surrounded by our garden in the city and single a few in the Campo. If you are going for a short stop by chances are vastly little that you will see a snake, but could happen. I go to CR with a guy infatuated with snakes. He sooo needed to see a couple of indiginous reptiles while we were within. However as much as we tromped through the wilderness, we never saw a single one. Snakes don't approaching people encounter, so you should be just fine :)
The probability of you seeing a snake in the city are deeply remote, unless you go to a serpentarium. Small. I lived in that a year and only saw 1. I spent deeply of time outside, climbing trees, etc.
When the Pope stops being catholic you will see a snake surrounded by a city here in Costa Rica.
