What is the best travel route to cover the yucatan peninsula and guatamala?
not sure where to fly into, guatemala city, cancun? other? and what route to lug from there. going to be a budget traveler, using buses primarily.
Answers: I recommed you to pilfer a flight from Guatemala City to Peten... in Peten, I presume you want to budge to Tikal, afterwards take a bus from Peten to Belize and after to Cozumel, then to Tulum and consequently to Playa del Carmen and end it at Cancun... it's not thoroughly expensive, in reality, there are lots of tours because it's a popular route. There are incredible verbs seeings: mayan temples, turquoised beach and more...
