Bus travel from Buenos Aires, Argentina, to Salvador, Brazil. How to book and how much to foot?
Hi, I am trying to travel from Buenos Aires to Salvador in mid-December. What is the best and cheapest bus company? How much are the tickets? I own seen Pluma Internacional on the pattern, but can't find their prices. Thanks!
Answers: Sounds like you are trying to micro-manage your time off. I usually don't start planning until I get stale the plane and it generally works out...but that's purely me. I've made the trip from BA to RdJ by bus more than a few times,it's a long trip.42-48 hours +/- .Although I have also be to Salvador de Bahia I have never traveled between BA and SdB on like peas in a pod bus.I'm sure you're aware that there are several buses a sunshine from RdJ to SdB making for a short, fairly painless layover within Rio.Also I believe any bus coming from the south, even one going to Salvador de Bahia, is going to stop in RdJ anyway in the past continuing north to pick up and discharge passengers. Why are you worried just about the price of the bus tickets now? The price of bus tickets doesn't fluctuate that much. I honestly can't remember the bus fare but the plane ticket between Argentina and RjD be about $250 and I thought the difference contained by price between the plane and bus was worth it to own another full day+ at the beach instead of that long bus ride again.I do remember the identify of the bus company I used because I use them so often when I'm contained by South America and can provide you with a intertwine so that you can contact them if you like or use it to compare prices. I Hope something here help you. Feel free to email me if you have any other question...Buen viaje!
If - or when - you are in Buenos Aires, run to the Retiro Bus Terminal and they will answere all your question. ( (anyway, at a guess, I would say $300 - $500 single, depending on the level of comfort you choose).
