1 year contained by Rome what are must attractions?
I'm only staying surrounded by rome for one day I inevitability to know the must see attraction. And what is closed on Friday June 29 because that is the daytime that I will be arriving in Rome and it would be unbelievably bad if most of the restaurants,shops and top attractions are closed.

Just try to see Fontana di Trevi,and Vatican...If you enjoy also the time to do this, because in Vatican you enjoy to wait seriously.
In any other case, try to see Colloseum, and allthe monuments around piazza Venezia...

Vatican you can do rome in almost sooner or later if you are not interested in museums and art.. everything is within walking distance i spend 2 days last year near saw alot.
must sees are fontana di trevi, the spanish stairs (piazza di spagna), and the colloseum including the roman forum
piazza san pietro is where on earth the pope is, vatican city it in itself wants a day to see,lot's of art and great stuff.
nice to look at is also piazza di venezia. and circo massimo
depending which airport you landscape ciampino aeroporto offers shuttle service to town (Termini) since it is on the outskirts... from the biggest train station get a map and of late start exploring it is fun. everything should be open on that hours of daylight , best place and cheap to eat is restaurante bibo, at piazza dei ss. apostoli n. 58,,,,,,,,,,,, it be darn good food !
The Vatican You hold to choose:
1st. Campidoglio, Colosseum, Constantine Arch.
2nd. St. Peter, St. Angel Castle, Sistine Chapel, Vatican Museums.
3rd. Navona Square, Pantheon, Trevi Fountain, Spanish Steps.
My favourite one is the 3rd.
