6 night, 7 days at italy?
we're planning to celebrate our 8th years anniversary by travelling to italy for 6 night. any suggestion?? city or place to visit? more details is better
we will travel on end feb-march , how is the weather within italy on that time?? is it a high season??

It depends what you are looking for. Italy is so rich and various in things to see! Here are simply a few tips:
Verona:
romantic town of Romeo and Juliet, you can visit Juliet's antique house and patio with her statue and eminent balcony. There is also a delicate world-renown Ancient Roman Arena (like the colosseum). Many shops, beautiful renaissance buildings.
Venice:
Simply amazing... by far the most unmatched city in world. Just as you would create in your mind it - no, better! Also known for its dazzling glass art work and craft objects that can be purchased on one of the venetian islands (Murano).
Florence:
Historic wherewithal of the Renaissance Age: the native (or adoptive) home of Dante, Machiavelli, Michelangelo, Da Vinci... full of amazing art-work, architecture, statues (such as the important "David"), museums: romantic, historical and artsy.
Rome:
Colosseum, Forum, St. Peter's, other Roman ruins... museums, ancient capital of the world... enthralling!
Sicily:
mildest weather in winter, blend of european and mediterranean cultures, colorful, ... arabic, byzantine, greek artwork, temple, buildings... palm trees and beautiful beach (though March is a little rash for bathing) - look into Taormina, Agrigento, Erice, Palermo...

If it is your first trip to Italy I would suggest Rome for the entire time. This is a great city beside so much to see and do. I go to Rome (and the rest of Italy) amazingly often and enjoy yet to tire of this wonderful city. You could spend you intact vacation purely going thru the vatican museums and still not see it all. A afternoon spent seeing ancient Rome will just amaze you. Seeing the colosseum, the forums, the palatine hummock and the circus maximus is something you will never forget. Visiting the Borghese gallery and seeing the incredible sculptures and painting will amaze you. When you walk inside the Pantheon you will stare, unstop mouthed, at the beauty of this building. Yes, I would definetly walk to Rome.
My most recent trip was from Feb. 22- March 6 of 2007. The weather be great. It was unseasonably thaw this year with the days self in the 70's. Usually you can expect mid 60's for the sunshine and high 40's for the evenings. Just dress within layers. As for tourist season, it is not dignified season but it is not low season either. January is really low season but it is a bit colder. You won't run into catastrophic crowds and the only splash we came upon be at the colosseum. We just go up to the Palatine hill ticket organization and bought our ticket there. It is a combo ticket correct for both sites so we waited for in the order of 15 minutes, bought our ticket, visited the palatine hummock then go to the colosseum, bypassing the line.

Weather is a bit close to ours. It will be a little chilly, but still dutiful weather. I really loved Rome. I saw a lot of romantic couples at the Trevi Fountain and it is a striking sight to see anyway. Venice I hear is markedly romantic and a neat city. Anywhere contained by Italy will be a good time, especially beside the one you love. I suggest maybe buying a travel book and checking out some sights that might interest you. Enjoy the time off, it is a wonderful and romantic country! March is better.
We suggest You Rome, with Colosseo, Fontana di Trevi, Piazza di Spagna, ... Really wonderful for an anniversary
Rome, Venice, Florence, Portofino, Capri, Amalfi Coast, Sorrento, Sardinia, Sicily. March - Do Rome contained by March. any further north you may find things to be wet and cold. Six night in Rome aren't too frequent. It will give you a destiny to relax and enjoy your anniversary. March is rotten season and so you should be able to find clothed rates at some of Rome's better hotels. We here in Answers can't find you a hotel... you obligation to know what your budget is and then work things out via Google.
There will plenty to do for you within Rome and after a few days you may even want to take a train trip to one of the ner by cities - perchance even Naples! It's a maximum 2 hour train ride. Leave in the morning and own a PIZZA luch in Napoli. Yopu may even resolve to visit the Amafi coast but you'll own to see hoe the weather plays out.

The weather is TERRIBLE at that time. Cold and rainy. Please don't embezzle a chance and ruin your break celebration and spend the high euro going at that time. You and hubby can walk somewhere else for your anniversary and go to Italy during the wamer months. I've be to Italy during the exact time: end of February through second week of March finishing year and had to purchase a down coat, gloves, scarf and sweaters. Italy is an country that you hold to do outdoors. You walk to restaurants, tramp to sites, walk to shops. Your photos will be of grey clouds and precipitation. You must have an umbrella!! It is not fun within cold, wet weather within an outdoor country. The end of February through second week of motorcade is also spring-break for teeny boppers that are loud and congregate in immense groups! We could hear and hootin and hollarin all darkness. Even the locals can't stand it. How about Hawaii; the island of Kauai. Lots to do and fine and romantic. Or St. Thomas, St. Lucia.
