What are the best walking shoes for Italy?
Answers: If you don't want to stand out as a tourist, skip the sneakers or athletic shoes. Italians don't wear them.
You will want a comfortable pair of shoes for walking. Here are a quantity of brands that you might want to check out: Geox & Tod's (both popular Italian brands), Ecco, Clarks, Merrel (sport-like, but popular with Italians). These are on the more expensive side but check out their styles and afterwards you can see if you can get something similar. However, I would recommend contained by investing in perfect shoes for Italy -- walking on that this cobblestone is tough on your feet and they will thank you for treating them economically.
It depends on your feet. For me, it's flat leather sandals or flips flops; the more undressed my feet are, the better. It depends on where on earth you want to go. If you are going to rural or mountainous places (like contained by the northern part), you should wear basic hiking shoes such as Merrells. But if you are going to a city, such as Rome, wear comfortable tennis shoes, because the cobble stones will hurt your foot. I recommend the Aasic or Brookes brand of tennis shoes. They are kind of expensive, but patently worth the cost because they will minimize foot pain!
I enjoy traveled to Europe quite a bit, and I wear Merrel Sandals. They are thoroughly comfortable, and have angelic support. I recommend them to the other people I travel beside. See if there is a store call 'The Walking Company' where you live. They hold some of the best shoes...all kind. I've purchased 2 pairs of sandals and a pair of sneakers from near...most comfy shoes I own. They're a little pricey but I'd to some extent pay money for righteous shoes than have some cheap ones that hurt my foot. As far as standing out as a tourist, who cares...YOU ARE A TOURIST!

If you are going to Italy, the best shoes will be the ones you bought contained by Rome as a very practical souvenier!
Rome is the world's wherewithal of comfy and very stylish fine shoes. If you are going shoes shopping, it should be there.
A duet of black K-Swiss or Heyday footwear - look like shoes but are really sneaks or a two of a kind of Timberland walking shoes.
I am often within Europe and see many Americans walking the city next to walking shoes that would be better up in the hill than in the city. They stand out close to sore thumbs, like tourists.
You'll do plenty of walking and you do indeed have need of a comfortable pair of shoes but you also want to look stylish and not inappropriate.
I suggested the black sneaks because they actually look approaching shoes. The Timberlands because Europe has adopt them as a status symbol (especially the Italians) . The Heyday for obvious reason.
Make sure you break them in a devout two weeks before heading across the pond.
comfy ones It depends on what you want to do, but I would wear sport shoes, resembling converse or something like that
