12 year holiday topped and tailed beside city breaks contained by Venice and Rome. Where to stir surrounded by between?
Answers: In between Venice & Rome is Florence. Side trips from Florence should include Cinque Terra, Pisa, then Siena and into Rome.

Rimini - for some large class R & R. Great beaches, fantastic weather. you must see Tuscany , jump to FLORENCE two days and walk adjectives around the city looking at The Duomo ,Palazzo Vecchio,Palazzo Pitti,Ponte Vecchio.Sit down at cafè in piazza della Signoria (Square) and next walk within the narrow ancient streets. Go to Piazzale Michelangelo and hold a panoramic sight of the intact city.
The other cities u must see are SIENA where u run to piazza del Campo and then stop by the wonderful panoramic hills while you are going to AREZZO. within visit the Pieve, San Francesco Church and the paints of Piero della Francesca and San Domenico where on earth is Cimabue's Christ. .Both these cities are little but with wonderful ancient centrum and interesting sights,
From Florence to Siena u spend 1 hour and one and the same from Siena to Arezzo.
From Arezzo by train u go to Roma within 1 1/2 hour or to Venice in something like 4. Have a good cruise
Florence, obviously.
But close to Venice is the city of Ravenna. It be the capital of ancient Rome for 50 years and have the most fabulous basilica. It is also the resting place of Dante.
Bologna is the food property of northern Italy. Well worth another day or two.

florence or pisa if u want to stay surrounded by italy. failing that why not paris? You can go to Tuscany and see Florence. It is elegant with gorgeous market and art and food. You can stay in the countryside and do cooking classes or tour the vineyard on bicycle. You could also stay in a Tuscan Villa. Alternatively, you could move about to the island of Capri. It is very Mediterranean next to beaches, cute little Italian fishing boats, awesome restaurants, gorgeous bedsit and you could see the flurescemt blue grotto which is completely breath taking (I've included photos below of this). Or check out Sicily which is very traditional Italy.

why you dont try Marche ? nice beaches lots hill very green and medieval village.nice food.i would try! Yup, agree with seriously here. Get the train to Pisa and spend a day here, after take the train to Florence. Enjoy this amazing city for a couple of days and do adjectives the touristy things - book your tickets for the Uffizi Gallery on the web and you'll lash the crowds. Then hire a car and drive out into the countryside. Tuscany is fab - you hold to visit San Gim. for that classic Tuscan belief of pine trees and medieval towers. Volterra is also amazing, especially the Roman theatre that clings to the hillside similar to an ornate limpet! Then skipper south to Sienna, for the amazing Campo and a winding street system that will do your go before in. Hint: park contained by a multisotry car park practical the walls and walk surrounded by, otherwise it's a nightmare to park. Finally head south for the hot springs and the Barossa vineyard, before returning to Florence. From here, you can connect to Venice.
