11 weeks surrounded by Italy this summer. Where?
Ok my situation is that I have 11 weeks to spend surrounded by Italy during the summer before I be in motion back to uni. I might initiate for a bit while I'm there but generally thinking of going to summer school and doing a bit of travelling. Where do I walk?
1) I've already lived in or visted Bologna, Bergamo, Florence, Rome, Palermo, Milan, Parma, Venice, Verona, Lucca, Perugia and Siena.
2) I'm within my early 20's and I already own experience of learning Italian for 6 years.

why not try the south, puglia, basilicata, campania and calabria or even sardinia.. seems to me you've done the north
wonderful in the summer.. and if you already speak italian you'll own no problems

Portofino, Camogli, Pisa, Assisi, San Gimignano, Sperlonga, Amalfi Coast, Sorrento, Capri, Taormina. w PARMA X SEMPRE..........
Torino (Turin) would be a good starting point, down to San Remo, along the coast to Pisa, nip across to Rimini, a few days within San Marino , then down the coast to Bari. ps. can I come next to you. Sounds like you will enjoy enough time to hop on a flight over to Sardinia! The island is magnificent in the summer and the beach are to die for! Meridiana flies right into Olbia and from there you can rent a saloon and explore the island. We lived on Lamaddalena for two years.I miss it very much, you will love it!
You've be all those place and haven't see Pompeii?? I highly suggest visit Pompeii and then hiking up to Mt. Vesuvius. I spent more or less 12 days in Italy (Rome, Naples, Pompeii, Palermo, Corleone, Agrigento, Mt. Etna, Taormina and Catania) Vesuvius and Pompeii be my favorite. In Agrigento which is in Sicily, nearby is the Valle del Templi and if you like hiking around and looking at that genus of stuff I'd suggest there. It definately would own been a big comfort to me in Sicily if I know the language. so you withdrawal to visit the SALENTO, is surrounded by Puglia.

I go to Europe this past summer and i enjoy to say one of my favorite cities contained by all of Europe be Assisi. It was such a cozy little town that offer a beautiful outlook of the Italian countryside and it has profoundly of great history. I am studying Italian now too and i will be spending a few months contained by Rome next year. Good luck and hold fun!

If you are looking for a place to have as a home remnant while you are there, the villa I live at immediately rents flats to tourists. It is in Viareggio, which is simply over the mountain from Lucca (about a 20 minute drive). From the villa you can see the Mediterranean Sea. Viareggio is a very fun town for younger associates. I attend Italian classes there as capably. They have a great university with classes available for adjectives levels, it is 4 hours a daylight, M-F and goes contained by 2 week sessions. They also have free excursions to areas just round the corner and social activities at dark. I can't remember what I paid, but it be reasonable.
Also beside Viaregio being right on the ocean, you can go to the shore, etc.
Viareggio is great because you can very effortlessly get to Pisa and Lucca (each around 20 min away) Florence is 45 min to 1 hour, You can get to Rome or Naples via the giant speed train in 2 and 3 hours. Siena is in recent times south of Florence, though you need a motor to go here. Just up the coast is Forte Di Marmi, which is very popular beside young Italians for discos, etc. Cinqueterra and Portofino are north of at hand.
If you are interested in more information roughly speaking the villas, let me know. And I am sure a discount could be arranged if you be to stay for that long.

The south! the Mezzogiorno is beautiful, the climate is fantastic, the relatives are friendlier (no offense, I'm a Northerner myself but it's TRUE) and the fooooooood.
I suggest Salerno if you're into cities it has the best of everything - deep-sea sun nightlife and so much more.
Salento is worth a visit. I similar to the area around Santa Maria
Leuca where on earth the two sea's meet but I guess you will need transport at hand. Pompeii should not be missed and Naples is...Naples and I like it even next to it's problems.

Sardinia is a nice Island or is it spelt serdignia ? Not sure but I spent 6 months there and I loved it, 6 months and I cant even spell it lol powerfully it was over 15 years ago...wallow in you can go to naples
Head for the south, Amalfi, Sorrento, Ravello, right along the coast, you can also run over to Capri from there, particularly beautiful island.

You HAVE to travel to Pompeii, Capri, and Sorrento. i loved Sorrento!! Dolomite's- its the best. The air, the mountains and the marine tastes great. You can swim contained by a mountain see. And people up near are fantastic. I go every year and every time I clutch a friend they are breathless. So try the dolomite's you will love it.
Turin (Winter Olympic games in 2006), Portofino and Le Cinque Terre contained by Liguria, Amalfi, Pompeii, Caserta( there is a great Royal palace near a wide garden and fountain falling down from a mound, The Palace in ending Star Wars was that... check it out, it's really lovely and it's also the birthplace of Buffala Mozzarella,the one real contained by italy)... and sardinia too is great in summer for seaside..really inventive! I have not hidden a lot what you own said because I am Italian. I recommend you to visit the Salento where on earth I live. by by !
