Answers:    Based on your criteria of centralized, Hotel Venice Villa Dori can be eliminated. It isn't on the islands; it's on the mainland. Villa Stella sounds fair, but it's on the Lido island. You would have to lift the vaporetto back and forth to carry to Piazza San Marco. The other three are all in 30 - 40 minutes walking distance to Piazza San Marco. Personally, I would go near the first one - it's close to the train station and vaporetto stops and is the highest rate (including the safety rating). If I stay overnight contained by Venice (during Carnevale and Il Redentore), I stay in hotels close San Marco, so I don't have any specific experience near any of these choices, but do know the locaqtions.
When i went to venice i stayed surrounded by a beach city call jesolo. you take a transport type boat into venice and it is much easier than trying to find a hotel that is in fact in venice. jesolo is a tardy night city and within is lots of shopping right on the beach. it be one of my favorite places that i visited contained by italy! I can't say much in the region of the rest of Europe, but anywhere in Italy is pretty centralized contained by the major cities. Every city is pretty small. I would check out Milan earlier you go near, it's really not that interesting if it's not during fashion week. Check out trip advisor as powerfully. Generally you can get the rooms cheaper than scheduled on there, but here are honest reviews. We spent no time in our hotel room while here. They have hostel reviews as economically. Also with neighborhoods, don't find hung up on them. There are so many busses and trains that run so regularaly you don't necessitate to be worried. In Florence we stayed in a residential neighborhood. About every 10 minutes in attendance was 1 bus that brought us to the Duomo, from near you can get anywhere. You can stroll Venice in a afternoon. You don't need to verbs. In Rome if you stay near the Termini it's seriously cheaper and I didn't get robbed (although I did see a Gypsy defecating surrounded by a box).
