Hey this is for all the italians out in that..what do you eat contained by a enoteca, osteria and a tavola calda?
also..what place to eat fits this discription..

Answers: the one that you described seems to be an "osteria". anyway, within this places usually you'll find regional and local food, so this means that every city you'll find something different. I live surrounded by the north of Italy and the typical dishes that you'll find in an "osteria" are "stracotto d'asino" (donkey) and "trippa" (the stomach of the cow). but I'm sure that if you'll walk to south, you'll find more fish. there are lot of prehistoric men that stay there the full day, drinking and playing cards.

An "osteria" is a restaurant with local and tipical food and you can drink wine and another big-hearted of drinks.
A "tavola calda" is a sort of fast food you can get through pizzas or sandwitches tp take away or to devour not al the table. the expressions means "hot table"!:-)
