Is anyone used to next to the San Giuliano Park contained by Venice.?
I am considering attending the Heineken festival contained by Venice in June. I enjoy never been to Venice so am wondering where on earth would be best to stay where I can get hold of easilly to the venue and also into Venice. I know the park is in Mestre but cant appear to find the ground on a map.
Answers: It's on the mainland close to the bridge to Venice. There's a map here: http://spazioinwind.libero.it/isola/carn... You can walk from the station, but it's nearly 4 km, but there will be a shuttle station from the Mestre station to the grounds as within was final year. Trenitalia should put on extra trains to handle the crowds at the come to an end of the evening as they did last year. You can essentially stay anywhere there's easy access to the Mestre station - such as anywhere within Venice.
