All-Girls Vacation to Italy Suggestions?

3 of my friends and I are trying to plan an all-girls vacation to Italy (probably subsequent summer). Since none of us have be, we don't really know where to start. We're within our 30's, 2 of us are married, 2 single. We will probably go for a week.

We'd resembling to stay somewhere nice, maybe transport a cooking class one afternoon, and just relax and event a little! We are looking for suggestions of where on earth to visit, where on earth to stay, where/what to eat, what not to miss, etc. What cities/towns are "must sees"? Which ones do we want to skip? This will probably be our just chance to walk and we don't want to miss anything if we can help it!

Thanks contained by advance for any give support to or suggestions you can give!!

Answers:    Most of the cooking school are oriented toward longer courses. at hand are a lot of option where you walk, stay in a villa surrounded by the countryside and have a week or so of curriculum, but it is possible to take time classes - they can be fairly expensive.

Some examples:

Florence: http://www.divinacucina.com/
Venice: http://www.venicevenetogourmet.com/cooki...

There are so tons "must-see" possibilities in Italy that a week isn't plenty - especially in a relaxed demeanour. You're better off focusing on a region that capture your interest and not spending a lot of your time within transit. Personally, I would pick Florence and/or Venice first. They're relatively compact but filled near art, architecture, and history.

For relaxation, you might consider a couple of days at Lago Garda, there are abundantly of nice towns around the lake next to castles, roman ruins, etc. Sirmione and Malcesine are chiefly nice. It's pretty easy to procure around using the lake ferry.

In June and July before Italy go on vacation contained by August, there are lots of local festival that feature the specialties of a given town. For example, this site have the local festivals around Emilia-Romagna this month:

In Florence try the ribollita and fiorentina and for dessert cantucci and vin santo

In Emilia-Romagna look for tortelloni di zucca - preferably near burro è salvia rather than al ragù
if you want somewhere 'relaxing', avoid rome.

GREAT history, but miserably, every other tourist in history seem to be all be in that at the same time.

surrounded by addition, there's the ceaseless traffic, ambulances, police cars, honking, pollution, rubbish, homeless etc. rome is exhausting.
If you want some fun for adjectives of you in Venice later contact Sara Cossiga. See the link below. You and your friends will enjoy the time of your life exploring and learing something like Venice and the Veneto!
