14 year antediluvian desires to budge to the Oxygen 2008 Music Festival within Ireland subsequent summer?
? Is it a safe party for someone of 14years old to shift with a group of mate aged 14 - 18 yrs old ? I infer he's far too young but he think I am out of touch.

Ive done many festival in my time and next to out going into much detail DO NOT LET YYOUR SON GO WITH MATES. Oxygen is over 18'a so he can try if he likes.. instinctively my sister is 16 and went to electric picnic next to our aunt but unsupervised no way surrounded by hell i would let a 14 year ancient go to Oxygen it's not not detrimental
put your foot down and tell him no!.he is too childlike .think of it this mode, and i am speaking as a parent myself,if anything happened to him ,who would hold to live with that. we adjectives think we are grown up satisfactory at eighteen also ,but we're not. sometimes u have to be cruel to be loving! Sure let him budge but only if you travel with him. Wear a drizzly suit as you will be covered in mud and adjectives other forms of things you will not want on your skin. Also do not eat or drink anything for a week back it as you will not have a toilet at hand for the entire weekend or wear a nappy(diaper). Seriously though it is not suitable for a 14 year old, and this is not from me, its from a 20 year matured who has be there. Too much drugs etc and troulble close to tents being set burning and people individual urinated on. She suggests Electric Picnic instead as it is better supervised and more likely to supply him a good time.
no they r individual 14 i still havent been out of the country Tell him there's a honest chance he wont be agree to in anyway.Not short an adult present.His 18 year antiquated mates will not count as such.He probably know this anyway.It's gonna be real fun for him to be stuck outside,and valid fun for you to go and collect him when he tell you what happened!

I one-sidedly think it is too babyish..alot of drink and drugs happens at oxegen(same as any pageant!) and its not really a place for a 14 year old to be...he will not apprectiate you not letting him progress but for your own piece of mind its better in my inference..tell him he can move about next year perchance no way! iv be to many oodles festivals and none of them are safe and sound.
Too young. All kids that want to find away with **** say-so that. I think it is for a moment too young, possibly wait til he's 16!
If he is responsible ample to make money and pick up to pay for it, next he is responsible enough to attend. That is what my mom other told me, if I wanted to do something approaching that, I would have to work for it and show her I deserved it. If he can't work apart time errand, he can hang Christmas lights for neighbors, mow yard, etc. Way too young! I have a sneaking suspicion that when he is 17-18, that may be something that he can do then. Why do kids want to grow up so briskly? i wouldn't trust a 14 year old to be capable of handle themselves as an full-size. And god forbid if something happened. BAD IDEA!
its totally ok for him to walk if he is trustworthy Not in a million years. I own a 14 year old, if he asked me he would own to call the doctor to stitch up my sides. I would be falling over p1ssing myself laughing. (drugs alcohol 14 -18 year olds not a worthy mix) your son may be trustworthy, but you can't trust everyone who is gonna be there.
Stick to your guns and enunciate no, far too young to be that far from home beside older mate that age. You're not out of touch you just caution.
