Is it unjust to lend your car(in Rep of Ireland) to a friend if they dont own insurance to drive it?

It is in the UK and be wondering if that was like peas in a pod in Ireland

Answers:    yes it is wrong,if your caught you will get a hefty fine from the court, don,t do it.
If your friend have a full licence then your policy should cover them Yup...but my mam other takes my dads vehicle anyways to go to the shops ha!
Absolutely immoral.

Why do people with the sole purpose see their side of it. what happens if your friend hits someone and damages their sports car or injures them. They don't deserve to have to foot any bills which might come to pass just because your or your friend didn't own insurance.

Dont even think more or less it.
It is, unless you have an unequivocal car insurance (as anti a certain amount of name drivers) which is obviously much more expensive. Yeah as you would expect it is!! If the car be in an happenstance then the driver and owner would be brought to court.
Yes, the owner & driver will both bring back heavy fines and the vehicle will be confiscated, (if caught, that is) YES!
yup Yes it is.

Motor vehicle insurance is compulsory contained by Ireland. You cannot drive a vehicle for which you are not insured and all vehicle should display an insurance disc on their windscreen. Costs can vary greatly between different insurance companies so it’s advisable to check prices beside several companies. Some companies will accept a no-claims bonus from out of the country. However, you will need to provide written evidence of your insurance story and each travel case is assessed individually.
Yes it is my friend. yes! your friend has to be insured to drive the sports car!!
If they have cover on their policy that allows them to drive other peoples cars, as long as its not a company sports car.
They should have a full license and pass a copy of their insurance details with them. If they enjoy an accident it is their insurance that covers the coupé, depending on their policy. I drive my brothers car and my wifes motor all the time
