72-hours surrounded by Derry - Friday Lunchtime til Monday - What ya gonna do?
I'm planning on a weekend to Derry Ciry (N. Ireland).
Can anyone give me some insider practice on what to do and see?
Answers: Am from NI. If your staying in Derry or Londonderry depending what nouns you are staying in you could call round the walls of Derry which still holds the old canon. You could take the city tour bus which would tour the Bogside and Waterside showing you where on earth a lot of the troubles contained by Derry would have happen. Also you could visit Bushmills outside Coleraine which is the oldest wiskey inventor in the world. The Giants Causeway is close to Bushmills which is worth a judgment - nothing resembling it.
Weather is wet in a minute and cold at night to heat up clothes.

I thoroughly enjoyed the Free Derry Museum, and the Free Derry stroll. It really helped me to construe the history of Derry/Londonderry. Definitely worth checking out in my feelings.
