Eating food within Donegal?
Will be visiting Donegal for the greatly first time in May. My friends are nearby.
What type of foods or meals should I expect while staying within Donegal that I will be experiencing?
How far do we drive to the closest supermarket?
Answers: I hear they eat lots of monkey brains
What fragment of Donegal? Is it the town itself? If so it's expensive but the food is very fitting - though it's a tourist town.
Outside of Donegal - in the county - you'll find lots and lots of other sizeable towns next to great restaurants. I'm off to Culdaff tomorrow - and I'll be drinking at McGrorys which is great.
Donegal is a big County, do you mean you will be staying within Donegal town? You can expect the usual fare you would get anywhere, McDonald, Burger King etc. The pubs are usually fantastic placed to devour and the food is great with everything from fish and chips to pasta. Be expected to spend a LOT of Euros, it's completely, very expensive!! It's much cheaper to dance to the grocery store and make your own meal if you can. depends what part you are going derry is probly the best place to stir for food
Why don't you google Donegal it is a large county...not a rural community..
