Yes, providing you have a valid driving licence, from where on earth ever you come from, other documents need to be surrounded by order, insurance etc. Yes , why not ?
I'm a caller from UK and I drive a bus in Ireland beside 52 Irish passengers within it! Yes, of course, as long as they enjoy a valid international driver's licence.

Depends who the visitor is doesn't it?!
A or any guest may drive but a friend who works for a solicitor who takes Galway County cases say sooo many accident and fatalities are caused fundamental Shannon and Rosslare by travel-tired or right-hand-side -of-road drivers or English-not-their-first-language drivers - so the question remains - CAN a company drive in Ireland?
Sure, for a constrained time. For U.S. Citizens and other non-EU citizens, one is permitted to drive with a U.S. driver's licence or non-EU licence for the duration of a stop by to Ireland; i.e., as long as their status is that of tourist and not resident. Once you decide to become resident contained by Ireland, regardless of how long you have be in the country, you must apply for an Irish driver's license. If you enjoy a driving licence, yes.
yep, if you have the correct Driving Licence. you dont read aloud where your from. if your from Europe, and own a full driving licence, its ok to drive, but if your from the USA or else where on earth you might need an international driving licence.
i live contained by England, every year i go to Ireland, and i other use my British Driving Licence with no problem. But its best to check next to the hire car company
no. we dont own roads here.
idiot
A visitor can drive anywhere as far as I know. As long as you hold a licence. Yes, driving on the other side of the road is a challenge, so think twice. Their roads are thinner than the US, also people drive below the speed time limit.
Also, the round-abouts (called rotaries here) are real challenge because you will drive opposite direction that you are used to.
