"Sieze the day" & "Love Conquers all" contained by Irish Gaelic? for a tattoo.?
"Tapaigh an deis" for sieze the opportunity, is that correct? and is there a translation for lately "sieze the day"?
&"Buann grá chuile ní" meaning "love conquers all"?
Answers: I'd translate "Seize the day" as "Gabh an lá" which I regard as is really cute.
"Buann grá chuile ní" is right.
Well.I don't think any of those are really like...IRISH expressions - check out websites beside seanfhocal as gaeilge ('seanfhocal' means, literally, prehistoric word (but it's like sayings/proverb/axioms) and 'as gaeilge' method in irish). If you're getting your tattoo surrounded by Irish don't you want it to be traditional?
As for your mistranslated Irish tattoo being familiar.fat haphazard! There aren't that many speakers!!
What do you want to verbs beautiful skin beside an ugly tatoo for? I can`t bear them.....so last century. I intuitively believe in hijack the day :)
annex the day...isn't that carpe Diem? no clue around the love conquers all. i dont know
Seconded. don't come onto tqqaa.com for a translation.lol
this aphorism will be on your body permanently. someone here might not intenionally administer you the wrong answer but might do it accidentally or make a typo. be in motion to a professional.
