Travelling within Ireland?
I plan to visit Ireland surrounded by the summer with some of my friends, and we plan to travel visit West Cork and Limerick since we don't own much time. Anyway what I wanted to know be how far is it from Shannon International Airport to Skibbereen and Skibbereen from County Waterford we want to visit Waterford Crystal, and also Skibbereen to Newcastle West. Hope to hear from someone soon.
Answers: Nearly an hour away I conjecture.

Driving from Shannon Airport to Skibbereen will take roughly 3 hours depending on traffic. Probably the best route to bear is the N20 to Cork city and then the N71 coastal road from Cork city to Skibbereen (breathtaking view!).
Waterford city is approx 3 hours drive from Skibbereen. Just take the N71 to Cork city and next the N25 to Waterford city.
The best way to bring back to Newcastlewest from Skibbereen is to take the N71 to Killarney (Kenmare to Killarney unit, part of the spectacular Ring of Kerry drive!). From Killarney thieve the N22 to Farranfore village and from here follow directions for Limerick. Depending on traffic this should thieve you about 2.5 hours.
You would enjoy a 3 hour drive from the Airport to west Cork and the same again to waterford, you can stop sour in Newcastle West en route to West Cork from the Airport. We also own a regional Airport in Waterford, that have a few routes into the uk. from Shannon it would take roughly speaking 2 hours to get to Waterford, gorgeous drive though.
