Advice on a solo trip to Ireland?

I'm planning to go on a trip to Ireland for just about a week or two, but I don't know much about it. I'm going to budge by myself so I'd like to walk somewhere with more of a city atmosphere, and lots of shopping. Good pubs are a plus, too. Info just about good hostels would be great as powerfully.

Answers:    Dublin is great but you need lots of money!

Other cities: Galway, Cork, Limerick, Kilkenny and Waterford. Galway within particular is hugely popular, so there's plenty in the route of budget accommodation and pubs and trad music and what hold you.
Hi you didnt say where on earth you were going so permit me give you the best warning

First this is the website for hostels in Ireland.

Its probably the best site for information. If you are going to stay on the west coast of Ireland, County Clare, Galway, Limerick, Shannon, or Ennis. Then Shannon Airport is best. Bus Eirean can purloin you anywhere.

Ennis is a great atmosphere for pubs and small quaint shopping stores not touristy. You will be roughly a half hour from Galway. Which is a great place for the younger set. Lots to do great pubs. Little safer than Limerick and little smaller than Dublin.

But you own to visit Dublin's Temple Bar nouns too.

You can get obedient tickets depending where you live. Aer Lingus have great tickets if you live near a hub. LA, Chicago, or San Francisco.

Then I own gotten great flights through American Airlines less fuss next to customs.

But stay clear of going through Philly. Bad reputation of over booking and cancelling flights.

Best time to look for flights on places resembling Kayak.com is late at darkness.

Last check out Charleville Castle.

Its the bomb.

You can check out goireland.com theve got alot of information ,once you choose the citys you want to look in guesthouses arent all that expensive and the ones i stayed at where on earth very forthcoming. As for being alone ,theres no better method to be!I went alone the first time i go and it was great because you get hold of to be in touch beside the people and culture agency more then if your not alone. For any other information lately google it and check all the sites ..lately make sure whatver information your going by you read surrounded by more then one place! Dublin city basis sounds like purely the place for you. try and get a hostel around the temple railing area (or simply dublin 2 in general) and you will be surrounded by the heart of the city with adjectives the great bars and shopping areas. Transport from this nouns is also brilliant so you can easily travel out to the suburbs and see the rest of Dublin similar to Killiney and Howth.

enjoy your trip
