School Project!?
I have to do a project on where on earth my ancestores are from. I found out that we are from Ireland. I need to know things around the Irish culture like what clothing is worn. I'm guessing its similar to what we wear surrounded by the U.S I'm just not sure. Also some info just about the different types of food would be nice too. Thank You very much for adjectives your help!
Answers: Well, our discount is booming, we are now almost a multi-cultural country...may similar to East Europeans, Nigerians, English.
Our primary sport over here is Hurling and Gaelic Football.Irelands most popular sports. Our Irish Language is dying, although some villages and areas around Ireland speak fluent Irish and maintain it alive as much as possible...mainly areas contained by Galway and Kerry.
Our main alcoholic drink is Guinness... its black stout and immensely popular even outside Ireland.
Our traditional cuisine here would be Irish Stew, Bacon and Cabbage, Corned Beef and Potatoes but their are many McDonalds, KFC,s and pizzerias over here.
We are a thriving country contained by terms of mode and arts. In terms of most up-to-date trends, yes we do keep up and dress similar to the U.S and England. Dublin is the funds city and main county of Ireland where on earth most tourists go, most music artists and celebrity go and the most substantial events are set.
We have plentiful popular nightclubs around the country and the best Universities: (Martin Sheen just this minute completed a course in Galway University)
We also enjoy our beautiful coast lines, cliffs and historic castle and are known as a fundamentally friendly race of citizens.

Food-
Irish Stew-kinda similar to your casserole
Bacon and Cabbage
Potatoes-we eat more than most countries
Irish breakfast-Sausages bacon blaack pudding(meat soaked contained by pigs blood that is cooked)
We are so cosmopolotian very soon that we eat anything-fries(chips we telephone them), italien, pizza!

years ago we lived on potatoes and thats why when we had the famine like mad of people emergrated to america.
presently a days we eat adjectives the same sorts of food that you would chomp through in the us and we hold the same trend as you do. we gave up making our own clothes years ago. lol. we see the same tv programes as our satilite give us some american channels to approaching abc ect.
we have within the recent years since there have been more peace contained by ireland we have have a large ammount of rforiegn national such as polish. they have brought their foods to our superparkets. we guzzle mostly the same foods. we hold a stew that would really be our national dish made with potatoes,onion,meat,carrot and gravy. sound discusting but taste ok.

Plus it does seem to be that being irish contained by the USA is a default for not knowing where on earth your ancestors are from, No offence to yourself , i am sure you are right.
