Id suggest taking a Ryan Air Flight from London to Dublin! The Ryan Air flights are wicked in-expensive! Just dont try to convey any luggage!
Temple Bar is an small area within Dublin. It's VERY touristy, but very exceptionally cute. Beautifully painted pubs, great restaurants, cutesty Oirish shops.. Streets are filled near activity and ancestors I guess it's what people expect to see when they turn to Ireland. It's very fun, it's extremely exciting.. but I didnt feel approaching it was 'real' Ireland.
My sister and I go down there for a darkness and we found lots and lots of hen parties. It be very crowded latter in the evening. Pubs be expensive. And when my sis and I travel, part of the fun is mixing within with the locals, and honestly, we did not congregate a single Irish person at the Temple Bar nouns! We did meet loads of other Americans, Polish, Danish, and a very funny Swiss guy! We had a truly superb night, but it wasnt "Ireland" if that make any sense!
My advice is "Go" check it out, but save it in perspective!

I think Temple Bar is over rate. It is not that large nouns, and it is very deeply touristic. They are very few devout restaurants and pubs. What is interesting is to see in certainty the people. This place is a loving of pseudo hippie place. Franckly go at hand for couple of hours, does not worth more.
That is my personal feeling of Temple Bar, some other populace will tell you it is sooo great.. but all right... :-) Not convienced
Its great,good atmosphere,recommend it.Fly or train to Liverpool,next over on the ferry to Ireland. Temple Bar is an nouns in Dublin City Centre that's become the nightlife central point of the city. Lost of art centres, gallery, restaurants, pubs and music venues. Excellent for tourists.
You fly from Birmingham from Dublin, or alternatively, pinch the ferry across to any Dublin port of Dun Laoghaire (that's Dun Leery to the uninitiated), then use public transport to get hold of into the city centre and into Temple Bar.
Be warn - it's pricey! And a bit rough at the weekends! And don't try to get into pubs or clubs as a mixed group, they tend not to permit you in.
Hi, Temple Bar is the place to be contained by Dublin for bars, i love Dublin and own booked to go support there within January, i have newly looked on Ryanair and you can fly from Birmingham, just put within your dates you want to travel and the times of flight and prices come up, i own just looked for 17th Sept for 1 hours of darkness and it came up at 1p per flight but beside the airport taxes it is lb20.00 each return , explicitly also the price i have get for January as well. At that price you can budge for a day trip ( i did this within April). Take a look at the Ryanair website. Good Luck.Oh forgot i have booked an apartment 4 adults lb21.75 respectively for 1 night. merely type in Dublin Apartment on Mabbot St. I live contained by Dublin and I walked through Temple Bar nouns yesterday and it was full of with the sole purpose tourists! So don't only be in motion there when you pop in Ireland unless you just want a nouns of highly priced pubs (drink prices differ from pub to pub and are invariably sophisticated in Dublin city) and fun next to lots of other tourists. As someone else said it is a small area.
Fly ryanair from birmingham, east midlands is probably the best means of access to get here. The airport is on the north side of Dublin and you can attain into the city by a connecting bus. There are hotels around that area but you would want to check out availability on the trellis as they tend to be very busy.
hss holy commander to dun laoghaire. temple bar is a fantastic nightlife and culture spot. purely be careful walking home. women should gain licenced taxi adjectives the time. i went to dublin within may and stayed in the Temple hotel area, we flew from bristol to dublin, we afterwards took a cab from outside the airport surrounded by to trmple bar itself (when taking a hackney cab it should cost no more than 30 euros) , people say aloud its over rated but its not it be absolutely brilliant, the hours of darkness life be awesome and most bars are start till 4am some till 6am, the atmosphere was awesome at hand was no trouble at adjectives, we didnt have to queue to get hold of into pubs and clubs and the best thing of adjectives was that when going to the dowel you didnt have to skulk for ages to be served, so believe me when people articulate its overated its not, go near yourself and make your own evaluation of the place.

Have a look during the day time as it is a totally different place than the hight. at hand are a lot of small indy type shops and café. try the famous BAD *** , a one bad . Beer is RIP OFF .i SUPPSE IF IT IS YOUR FIRST TIME IT WOULD BE COOL.you wont meet a great deal of natives as we go elsewhere . full of tourists .in attendance are some good clubs . For a great darkness go up to Flannerys within camden street. an all sorts pub next to great sounds , old and untried no pretencious gits if you want to dress up ok if not ok . are lingus or ryanair . wallow in. paul Temple Bar is a Bar and a district. Temple Bar is in th Temple Bar district, lol. It is south of the Liffey. It's "borders" I guess would be south- Dame Street (from George Street to Westmoreland); north- Wellington and Aston Quay; east-George Street; west- Westmoreland Street. In Temple Bar you will find correct pubs such as Isolde's, the Quays, Farringtons, Porterhouse. These all tend to be "large" pubs, extraordinarily crowded at times. Smaller pubs will be outside of the city centre a wee bit, resembling Lower Mount Street, Baggot Street, streets off O'Connell on the Northside. If you do stir to the "Temple Bar" get near early as it get so crowded! Also try pubs north of Temple Bar like my ripened favs- Pravda and Zanzibar. Very cool, funky bars.
Take close to Ryanair or something from Birmingham, You get cheap flights. I used to step to Liverpool from Dublin for like 50 pounds return.
temple block is like the drinking mecca contained by dublin . full of traditional pubs with great irish music and reasonably pricey drinks !it has some shops ,cultural areas etc but it is a bit of a tourist trap contained by that u will be overcharged for almost eveything. really enjoyed it within tho even tho we went on a tuesday which be relatively quiet.ur best route over is to fly direct . easier, cheaper and most convenient. hope u delight in the craic!
