Ireland is a great country and near are loads more things to do.the above are just a few i could reason of at the top of my head.I love ireland(and not a short time ago because i'm irish (and live in ireland)).i would suguest rent a saloon cos otherwise it will be impossible to see everything.

I've be to Ireland more than 5 times, and I would definitely say-so that June is the best time - long days and short nights. Though adjectives of Ireland is wonderful, the best places are the rural villages (ex: west of Ireland), where on earth it's most different from America. Another neat place to step is Giant's Causeway. Im dublin born and bred, and here's my advice- dont go to dublin. It is over priced,society are rude,polluted and full of non-nationals. If you want to see the real Ireland, Go south or west!
Anywhere surrounded by Ireland is beautiful to look in. Galway and the Ring of Kerry were my favorites. The small towns and village also have greatly to offer and the relations there merely love Americans, god only know why. It never gets really thaw in Ireland, so if you want high temperature and higher prices June to August is your time. Spring and Fall are smaller number pricey and the weather hovers around 50-60 depending what part of the country you are surrounded by.
It's a beautiful country near some pretty wonderful people, I urge you to travel anytime and enjoy. It totally depends on what you're looking for. For seeing Ireland, as contained by the countryside and so on, the best weather is probably in May/June, and September. There are abundant beautiful sites to see surrounded by the South and West, particularly the Burren, the Ring of Kerry, and pretty much any of the South/West coast.
There are profoundly of local festivals and so on that jump on in towns at different times of the year. As a Corkman, the best one is probably the Jazz celebration in the Bank holiday weekend at Halloween, usually the final weekend of October. Almost every bar surrounded by Cork city will have some sort of live music going on, not necessarily jazz, and the craic is mighty.
It is true Dublin is terribly expensive, but for a long weekend, it's manageable. For any longer, you'd probably enjoy more fun for less money anywhere else. Galway is a flawless student type city, lots of artsy stuff too.
The North is really a nice place too - especially now everything's more settled. Belfast is a good-looking city. The Irish Tourism Board covers the whole island, and they own tons of info on stuff to see.
