Watching gaa match?

does anyone know of a website that allows you to watch gaa games online outside of ireland, close to the cork v meath game tommorow

Answers:    Sorry, but you are pretty much (though not entirely) out of luck. To sum up the long answer below, ***the simply way to keep under surveillance GAA matches out of the country is to use setanta.com to find a venue and then recompense a hefty cover charge to get within and see the game.***

I'll explain. The RTE website is, categorically, the only website that shows video and highlights of gaa games. BUT you can't watch it outside of Ireland, because their site detects the location of your ISP. Now the patent solution would be to find an Irish proxy server. I have spent hours on this, and it is nearly impossible... I lone got it to work once, and that time, the rte site said I didn't own quicktime (which I totally do, so there must be something problematic going on there).

Now, Setanta Sports (the satellite provider), have a frigging stranglehold on international rights of GAA games. They're pretty cutthroat -- in the US, bar have to pay packet hundereds (and hundreds) of dollars to show a GAA game, because they are considered pay-per-view games. This is why bar pretty much have to charge $20 a person in charge to get within.

Now, if you're in the US, and you are inclined to fork over the $20 for any game you'd want to see (I routinely own to do this -- that's what you get when you date an Irish guy), there's an uncomplicated way to find out where on earth your game is person shown. Go to http://na.setanta.tv/navenuefinder.htm , check off "GAA," type within your zipcode, and you'll get a chronicle. Just don't forget to call the banister ahead of time to make sure they're showing the activity you want, and be aware that "backdoor matches" are normally not broadcast by Setanta at adjectives. If you're in Australia or somewhere else, you'll want to go to Setanta.com to intertwine to other venue finders.

Good luck, and sorry I don't have better communication! (You can, like another answerer say above, get a live radio nurture from the RTE website, but that's hardly indistinguishable thing, immediately is it?)
I don't know about watching the games, but my husband listen to Kerry radio on the Internet in Australia any time Kerry is playing. up cork ya boyo
