Looking for a nice pub to drink surrounded by dublin?

who knows a nice pub contained by - or near - the city center beside a good atmosphere

Anyway, depends what you're looking for. if it's carvery consequently the Duke, just rotten Grafton St does nice food apparently (I don't like carvery so don't guzzle there)... otherwise Keating's off Mary St is a nice big pub (kinda trendy) beside good food (also have a restaurant downstairs. If I think of anything else I'll attach it on.

Edit: The Market Bar off Georges St. does Tapas style food which can be kinda nice if you're not looking for a big spread with your drinks.
Dont infer the Landlord would be too happy. I enjoy O'Neill's on Pearse St. across from Trinity.
Hi, Try Flannigans it's near to McDonalds on O'Connell St simply passes the Post Office. The Porter House at the bottom of Grafton St - couldn't be any more convenient and does suitable pub grub as well as pizzas and things. MASSIVE screening of beers as well!
Mother Reillys surrounded by Rathmines has won loads of awards for food, really nice pub too. Could you get through a whole pub?
hope ya get a good stomach and cart something as you will probably get constipate near salt and pepper?? bit of butter to assist it go down easier I like Captain Americas on Grafton St.
