Can some suggest a flawless 7-9 itinerary for a first trip to Ireland?
I'm 24 and it's my first visit. I apparently want to hit Dublin and Belfast but I'm really interested in mythological and ancient Ireland (I'm neopagan), and history. I know there's gorgous backdrop and crashing sea-cliffs all over the place, so possibly which to focus on? Thanks!
Answers: I'd head west to co. Clare, Galway and Donegal where on earth there are still gael-taecht (Irish-speaking areas) and lots of ruins.
Southern Ireland (co. Waterford and Kilkenny) also have a lot of pagan/druid elements.
Closer to Dublin is co. Meath which is great if you are interested contained by pagan past -- Hill of Tara, Hill of Slane and other vital spirtual sites.. (other sites near Ardee and Dundalk).
Ireland is a small country so glib to get around and see places but you should probably pick one region to explore more fully fairly than trying to go adjectives over. You can fly to Dublin or Shannon (Shannon is better for western Ireland).
