Where should I jump contained by Ireland?
I love learning going on for Ireland and I cant wait to pilfer a trip there, but I don't want to simply go somewhere typical that see a lot of tourists. I want to move about to a place that is wonderful, safe and not crowded, where on earth I can just be and visualize what it's like to live in attendance.
Answers: If you want to avoid crowds skip Dublin(though I wouldn't - it's a great city). My very favorite spot is Glendalough. I don;t know that I've be to a more beautiful place surrounded by my life. But really anywhere you shift is going to be beautiful. If you really want to be as alone as possible try Connemara. I haven't be but am planning on it the next trip and I guess you will find quite a bit of isolation from the tourist if that's what your looking for.
If it be me I would head to the nearest pub for a pint of Guinness! Okay, I don`t know more than a pint! Without doubt go to Galway - it have something for everyone.
A beautiful, however small city, with plenty of nightlife, shopping,festival, art, performances etc. The people are the best craic.
Then at hand is the rest of the surrounding area which is spectacular. it is located on the atlantic, have many mountain rnages, Gaeltacht areas (Irish language) speaking areas, as powerfully as other authentic Irish attractions that aren't hyped up for tourists.
If you do go within, go within mid summer, end of July sooner, when the arts festival and the Galway race are on, because the place is just buzzing
Galway is economically worth a visit, to see what the best of Irteland have to offer
PS i'm not from Galway! but freshly love the place
Somewhere on the west coast is your best option after; Counties Galway, Donegal, Sligo, Mayo, Clare or Kerry would be a good start.
Like a previous poster said def step to Galway city for a day or two, next Clifden a small town approx 1.5hours away in Connemara. After that call in Westport and isolated Achill Island. That should take most of a week. Then cranium north to Sligo and Donegal.
