Where is the best place toI buy euros within NYC or Westchester County, NY?
Going on a trip to Ireland soon and want to purchase euros before I go--where is the best place to do this? I live within the Westchester County/NYC area. Thank you.
Answers: The best place we found to buy them, be in Europe, but purchase them at the airport when you arrive. Cheaper and Safer.
If you ever travel to London or other places surrounded by Europe that use the gaps ( metro's ) Be AWARE ..
Be hard-working to keep your purses any next to you or surrounded by front of you especially if you are using the gaps. ( metro's ).
I be very fortunate traveling contained by London on the gap, my husband notice a couple of guys near us and while going down the escalator , one get in front and dropped his ' cell phone ' explicitly when the other one backed up to my husband and primarily ' forced me to bend over " ( as in to minister to pick up his phone ) and that's when they make their move and rob you. We like a shot moved and they went away.
I have a lady make clear to me soon after that happend that they were trying to rob me. So, in recent times be very scant... and trust no one..
Not to alarm you but to tip off you and have a protected and Great time in Ireland.

My answer is don't buy them surrounded by the USA.
When we went to Ireland surrounded by 2004 our Travel Agent told us to take a Bank Debit or Cash Card and bring back some Euros at the Airport when we landed, contained by our case Shannon, we merely hit the first ATM we could find. I never regretted the advise and we be never short of Euros, there are ATMs adjectives over the place, plus you get the best rate of exchange.
