Alright, so whats the traffic beside St Patricks Day contained by Ireland..celebration?
Obviousl St Patrick's Day is celebrated a tad different in Ireland than the US. what do we expect? and or do. we don't want to dress up approaching crazy people. or do citizens do that?

How to behave, what to do, wear, drink, eat etc
Book a week bad for recuperation
Gather a bunch of like minded individuals (if you dont know them that capably thats ok - you will once the day is over!)
Wear something within the 41st shade of green, a large headdress and something rainproof.
Drink lots of the black stuff (stout) interspersed with small quantity of Uisce Beatha
Eat Champ, Dublin Coddle, Crubeens, Irish stew (though not all together!)
Get up rash to get a polite start on the other punters and get yourself a comfortable form in your chosen pub
Prepay the barman for prompt & streamlined service (dont forget to tip)
Book Taxi 3 weeks previously to pick you up (literally) and take you home at the cessation of the night/ early morming
and most importantly of adjectives

I was contained by Ireland for paddy's Day a few years back. I be in Limerick. It be very severely chill - like at hand was a nouns and lots of drinking (I was surrounded by college...when is there not lots of drinking?). We go to the parade but it be like, the local arts school kids and different groups from the city...the Irish equivalents of boy scouts, the local Sinn Fein group. Stuff like that - NOT a huge contract with giant floats or doesn`t matter what. As far as I know the only place that go all out is Dublin, and I wrinkle it's more for us yanks than the locals anyway... 3 days surrounded by Limerick this year, and as far as I know, 3 different parades. Should be polite. They don't have big wide open avenues so that can't do huge floats, but it's still good fun.
Saint Paddy's is usually a light of day where everyones massively merry on Guiness or green beer!! a lot of ethnic group dress up with crazy hat etc which are usually sold on the street or from the local tourist offices.

Date: Monday 17 March 2008
Venue: Belfast City Centre
Time: Carnival show leaves City Hall at 12 noon. Free concert begin at 1pm and ends at 3pm.
2008 St Patrick’s Day celebrations will offer a colourful carnival atmosphere for the in one piece family to relish!
The carnival parade, themed The Shamrock and the Storm, will part thunderous drummers, a huge rainbow float and of course shamrocks as you’ve never see before.
The carnival will form its way along Donegall Place to Castle Junction into Castle Place, consequently along High Street, Victoria Street and Victoria Square, into Custom House Square where here will be a free concert.

Headlining our free concert will be 2008 Brit Award nominee Mutya Buena (formerly of Sugababes). She will perform the Top 10 hit single Real Girl as all right as other tracks from her current album.
Nae Goats Toe, an Ulster Scots folk orchestra, will play a selection of their innovative, inspired tunes.
Four Men and a Dog will entertain the audience near their toe tapping blend of traditional Irish favourites.
The event will be compered by Belfast’s 'coolest' DJ, Pete Snodden.
Admission
With a size of around 5,000, admission to Custom House Square is free, but entrance will be on a strictly first-come, first-served idea.
I'm from Dublin and go to the play every year..for most people it in recent times time to chill out with friends and it a excuse to draw from legless...its also a day to let your hair down being Irish ..lol i cant lurk it the best day of the year!!
