Do I involve an international driver's license to rent a vehicle contained by Ireland?
I have a U.S. Driver's license, and will one and only be renting a car for a week surrounded by Ireland. Just wanted to produce sure I don't need to also attain an international driver's license! Thanks for your help!

You need to check the vocabulary and conditions of the rental company you choose to hire your car from, as some saloon hire companies in Ireland require an international driver's license while some don't. Yes you do. Where I live, it cost almost $15. They will put your picture on it and all you do is sign the piece of quality newspaper. No test or exam.
yes you do...run for the border. Yes you do, travel to AAA they have the applications and can sustain you get one. You can do it through the letters too. Print out the application (see the link) and mail it to the AAA organization with two passport style photos and they will distribute you your IDP.
