Irish and study in a foreign country students?

I am planning on studying abroad this coming semester within Ireland ( in Cork and dublin) and be wondering how the irish tend to take to students from america. Id repugnance to walk into a pub to own a beer and get harried or anything of the sort. Any feedback?

Answers:    I live in Cork and most ethnic group take incredibly well to tourists...especially Americans!!
Most Irish ancestors are just interested surrounded by where you are from and start discussion to you
should be grand if you are not a stereotypical tug. I happen to agree next to stitcher on this one. But I will add something: If you variety a nuisance of yourself, and you attract denial attention to yourself, it will be regarded as your own defect. There are a lot of family from the Middle East living in Ireland, and if you are provocative towards them and they turn on you, don't expect copious Irish to be sympathetic to you.

However, this is an extreme case, and appreciatively there haven't be many culture who have be that foolhardy, ignorant and boorish.
Somebody somewhere have a lot to answer for. I cannot believe the question that come from your side of the Atlantic.

If you study here you will be made very reaction and no one will hassle you within a pub or anywhere else unless you are an obnoxious person or behave approaching a boor. We have lots of inhabitants here of all nationality and it is like anywhere, a impressively small minority are racist, but most of the time you will not be aware of that.

A little bit of advice: don't ask for a ride it ability something far more intimate here! ask for a lift. Don't phone the Republic Southern Ireland or Eire.

Just come and enjoy yourself. Welcome
kind yourself known to the locals, you will be made amazingly welcome most irish race love americans..well i do anyway.you wont take any hassled at adjectives..lol xxxxx
