Im trying to appointment Gibson guitars at 00800 - 44 42 76 61 from Ireland but it wont jump through. What is the code?
Answers: I have found it impossible to ring free phone numbers outside of Ireland regardless of varying the code. It doesn't even work within Skype. I have an idea that they are set up not to accept international call. I have have this problem with lots of international businesses. Use a website and email explaining you want to phone up and they will email you back a landline number.

The gibson website does not document ireland as one of the countries that offer support for via the international freephone number so that's probably why that doesn't work
You could try dialing 00 1-8OO-444-2766 which is the US freephone number, but as you're going to be calling internationally it'll (probably) cost you matching as calling the USA directly
You could try them via Instant Messenger too. They are on AIM, Yahoo and MSN under email address during US business hours customer.service1(a)gibson.com

I`m assuming the number is a 1 800 number you are trying to nickname.If that is the grip you need to dial our(u.s.) country code 1-8OO-and after there will be 3 numbers and later 4 numbers,such as 1-8OO-555-5555.hope this helps
