What is the longest time its taken for an airline to find your luggage contained by Ireland?
My 1 bag disappeared on Dec. 2nd from Cork Airport (Ireland), and at this point I'm told its most potential not going to turn up. I was wondering...what is the longest someone else have waited for their luggage once lost or if you ever received your luggage after individual told the case is closed. Just curious.holding out next to baited breath, as I have a family photo album inside.
Answers: I am sorry to make clear to you that my grandsons bag be checked in for a trip to LA from Dublin contained by July 06 and has never be found! I don't think you own a hope of the airline paying, that has not be my experience, they will fob it off. Your solitary hope is travel insurance and I do understand that photos can't be replaced. Sorry I cant be more positive.
No really bleak experiences.
I think my purse didn't make it three times.
Shannon to London to Amsterdam - turned up a few hours next.
Shannon to Atlanta to Las Vegas - turned up a few hours later.
London to Frankfurt - following light of day.
The longest I waited be 5 days (from Sunday to Friday). My lost bag (actually a mirror, which frame and cup turned up broken) was surrounded by Milan all the time. It be Alitalia's fault. I suggest you try and contact the airline and the departure airport in the past losing your hope. I know it won't make up for the loss of the photo album but you should ask the airline to remuneration for the contents of the bag. Start collecting receipts of things that be likely to be contained by the bag and you have to buy again (i.e. ask your friends to give you adjectives the receipts of things they recently bought!)
