4 night surrounded by Ireland?

Mum and I travelling to Ireland (from Australia) for 4 nights contained by September (we are having a few weeks contained by Europe and UK as well). We are down to have 2 night in Dublin and enjoy 2 days car hire and 2 night somewhere else. I am trying to work out the 'somewhere else' I know there are so copious beautiful things to see and do but could anyone bequeath me some recommendations of a place we can stay for those two night that isn't to far from Dublin we don't want to spend all our time driving but will be worthwhile to see and may hold a few attractions around it. Thank you.

Answers:    Your probably better off staying close to Dublin so around Kildare, Wicklow or Meath possibly suitable. Here are some websites which may help. Good luck and I hope you soak up your stay no matter what you do!

Go to Galway, on the contrary side of the island and drive out from there - north and south both bestow lots of sights and beautiful countryside. Connemara, Blarney, Waterford, Cliffs of Moher, Giant's Causeway, Ring of Kerry, Kylemore Abby, the Aran Islands, etc. are adjectives great sites to see and experience.

A fifth day would net a big difference, though, so you don't feel close to you're losing so much time driving.
you could try meath, its not far from dublin about sixty miles. it have lots of interesting places such as hill of tara, newgrange, feeble castles and dignified crosses.you could stay in Navan and budge shopping altough the shops are better in dublin!
