go on pocket her she will enjoy Ireland What's not risk-free about it? The solitary bad piece about it really is the expense and the weather, at the moment. An awful lot of precipitation. I'd recommend Dublin or Galway, two opposite sides of the country. I found a few links that might facilitate, at least beside Dublin. Enjoy your stay!
well the relatives that told you Ireland wasn't safe are conversation sh**e and have no clue. Ireland is alot safer than the big cities within USA or very big European cities like Paris, London, Moscow etc.

The republic have always be safe for tourists (crime contained by the republic of ireland is almost non-existant). You will be robbed; due to high prices :D

northern ireland have had its troubles within the past but the intimidation there have ended.

Ireland is a substantial country, it might look small on a map but you need a clear hypothesis of where surrounded by ireland you want to visit as it take a full day to drive from the north of the country (Donegal) to the south (Cork).

Dublin city and country, Galway city and county, Kerry, Donegal, Cork, Mayo would six places I would recommend to drop by. There is little chance of doing them adjectives on a one-week vacation however.
Ireland is super past the worst!! In the Republic of Ireland, they have a fantastic meet people of Bed and Breakfasts if you are renting a car. In town, I enjoy no hotel suggestions but the DART in Dublin is a great to commute into the city from the suburbs.
