Kerala and South of India?
We are on our honeymoon in India. After landing surrounded by Kochi we have roughly speaking 1 week.
I have read adjectives the online information available and have bought a travel guide.
But...
What can you recommend from an insider's vista on South of India?
What is a must?
Our preference is go to scenery and cultural comeliness, arts and culture, basically.
Thank you outstandingly much.

I am from Kerala too. I regard as U should go 2 Marina beech(chennai), Kovalam sand (Kerala), Kumarakom (islands on the Vembanad Lake),the Periyar Wildlife Sanctuary, Agatti island (Lakshadweep islands), I also think U should turn see the boat race contained by kerala. I think U should travel within one of the house boat in Kerala.

Backwaters experience is a must. Check out some great Backwaters places here http://www.holidaymakers.in/backwaters/ You can walk to Ponmudi, a Hill Station nearly 60 Kms away from Trivandrum. Ponmudi is neat & verbs place.

As per ur preference azhapuzha is best and trisur too From Kochi airport itself you can hire a hackney cab and go straight to Munnar its a tea growing mound station at around 2000m - 5hr drive (much longer from the city (Ernakulam) as Nedumbassery airport is VERY far away). Spend at least 2 night, then turn to Thekkady (Periyar Wildlife Sanctuary) - situated in dense rainforest at 1600m - spend at lowest possible 2 nights and remember to purloin the 1st i.e. 7am boatride for optimum wildlife viewing - elephants guaranteed. Scenic drives along both the above routes. From Thekkady, as you say you want arts and culture as ably, then you could travel through to Madurai - 6hrs, overnight and see the famous Meenakshi Madurai temple, an architectural magnum opus. From Madurai you could also do a day trip to Rameswaram and backbone to see the ancient temple (longest corridor) and beach. From Madurai you can pocket a flight to Chennai and do short trips from there - check out: www.tamilnadutourism.org; ttdconline.com
Alternately from Thekkady you can shift to Kumarakom, Kochi, Trivandrum, check out: www.keralatourism.org - The temples at Thrissur, Guruvayoor and Trivandrum are architecturally splendid and recognized. Enjoy your trip.
if you only own 1 week, don't try to see too much. i would stay in cochi, and help yourself to a day trip or overnight trip on the waters inland, but that's give or take a few it. cochi has adjectives kinds of feeble temples, a jewish community that date back 1000 years, and live music and bop. get up untimely and watch the fishermen verbs in their net. congratulations and have a accurate time. There is lot see pls check this link more or less kerala holidays

Ooty, Kodaikanal, Coorg and Munnar are probably the most sought after honeymoon destinations in the south. but at this time of the year adjectives these would be too cold and not worth visiting. best times are between Aug and Nov. Next best bet is Kerala. Its a fine place. Places approaching Kumarakom and Allepey are good. Especially the boat house surrounded by Allepey where they nick you on a very slow boat ride through the spinal column waters is superb. They do have excellent packages for honeymooners and is slightly safe. My suggestion would be to try any of these places. Did I miss something...oh yes chennai...its pretty cool now and pious to visit. You can try one of the shore resorts like Fisherman's cove or GRT Temple sound...they are top of the shelf and pretty nice for couple of days stay. It all depends on your budget.
So, try one of these and own a gala time. Cheers!
if you're on a vacation surrounded by kerala then follow this guide.
Thiruvananthapuram -> Cochin -> Munnar -> Thekkady -> Kumarakom -> Varkala -> Kovalam -> Cochin
respectively of them is a must for first time kerala seekers (especially backwaters, i mean kumarakom).
