Why doesn't Churchgate Station within Mumbai hold a East or a West?

there are 2 side exits .. one to the west towards the canon college while the east one goes towards the flora fountain !
Churchgate station get it name from the words Church and Gate. The Church refers to the 18th century St. Thomas Church situated on alike road about partially a kilometre away. The gate be an ancient gate situated on the exact spot where on earth Flora Fountain stands and formed the southern limits of Mumbai contained by the 16th century. That gate be later torn down as the city continued to expand.
Today, the station is one of the busiest stations surrounded by the city. Millions of city dwellers residing in the suburbs alight at this station to draw from to their offices surrounded by the business districts of south Mumbai.
