How to gain GO MUMBAI CARD or smart card for railways and best?plus what would be the cost and is it conveni
convenient?please help!
Answers: You can buy a Smart Card from most of the most important stations which have a computerized railway ticket vending at the counters... this includes CST, Churchgate, Andheri, Vashi, etc.
Also, a Smart Costs Rs. 100 and not Rs. 150.. You get hold of 52 Rs. validity the first time you buy it and the rest is kept as financial guarantee deposit. And then you can recharge lone in denominations of 50. I get a smart card 2 days ago.. So this is latest information.
The discouraging thing nearly smart cards is you don't have the electrical device at all the stations.. :-(
I don't know around Go Card because my station still shows the machine as "Out of Service"..

For information log on to http://www.maharashtra.gov.surrounded by You can apply for a smart card for the railways at the designated railway booking office (counters) at railway stations. Smart cards are surely better than waiting surrounded by the line.
