mount stations of mahabaleshwar and lonavla pune is 180km while goa is 540km from mumbai.Around 90km north of mumbai their is 17km long beach call "kelva beach",16th century shirgao fort, satpati village(biggest fishing village within india) for accommodation their is "the samudraa seaside resort" it is only resort on shore.in goa you can call round many beach like anjuna, calanggut, vagator, baga,and colva temple in phonda taluka but most important think is cross border of north goa and call on sindhudurg district in maharashtra
From pune nearby R many places to call in But it is worth visiting Khandala & Matheran .
