India travel: Have any of you done any walking nearly within India?
Would like to know what are the traditions of walking or hiking contained by India? Which areas are dangerous? Are near any national forests or parks with developed trails? Do you know of any books which I can receive on the subject? Or any websites? Thank you and have a nice daylight.
Answers: be careful of national forests because they enjoy poachers and smugglers. if you want hiking or walking, go to mound station areas. they are much safer and better. there are abundant in india. i solitary know 2, ooty and kodaikanal which is in south india. the weather at the hillock stations is cool unlike the rest of india which is hot. if you to hill stations, bring a sweater and some heat clothes. also take sunscreen, because you can sunburn a lot even if it's not sunny. at hand nice parks and gardens where folks walk. i assume one has a hiking trail. a great deal of the hillstations areas are nice and green and serene. not dusty. not crowded. these places are usually where they grow tea. also seriously of boarding schools for kids are here. they have a boating ride contained by ooty. in kodai kanal, they enjoy golf course and tennis courts.
i never do walking or hiking in India...
but i've be to India few times.. job purpose...
all i can right to be heard about India...
it be a hectic place to be...
you'll be crowded by 'people' who kep stare at you..
moreover if you're bright skin or white..
you might feel awkward here..
resembling they intend to do something to you..
but just enjoy confident in your self..
that they wont damage you..
i do this everytime i go to India..
apart from that...
India be a great country to visit for culture travel..
