Advice for a first time mover to Chennai from Gujarat?
I am a recent IT graduate(27 yrs old male) and want to move to Chennai to look for IT job in Chennai and
in the neighbourhood cities. I am at present in Gujarat and don't give the impression of being to get much interviews as here are not that many IT
companies as surrounded by TamilNadu. Where can someone like me find affordable accomodation(around 4000rs for 1 bedroom
apartment including bathroom) within a safe and muted area? I don't want to be a Paying Guest.
I want to stay alone as most of the time I will be penetrating for jobs and studying. Where can one investigate for such
apartments other than local daily ads? Are utilities(electricity) surrounded by the tenant's name or proprietor? How much
do they typically run per month? Is the lease/rental agreement for 12 months normally or within are places
which offer month to month rental also?
I can speak Tamil, but cannot read and write. Some reading on this forum mentions rickshaw drivers
overcharge like mad. Any suggestions on how to tackle/avoid it other than using public transport most of the time

In chennai especially north chennai there are lots of North Indians and you will discern at home there esp contained by sowcarpet area.
Rent is affordable contained by these areas especially if you are a north indian.
Autorickshaws are notorious but at hand are share rickshaws
available for hire. Bus system is quite competent and in that

Come to chennai and you wont regret it. You will love it. the people,the marina sand, the malls, theatres, temples, churches,mosques, hotels, restaurants, shops,supemarkets etc.,you mark it we got it.

1) There is no place safer than Gujarat.
2) There is no place cheaper than Gujarat.
3) You will not be able to survice within chennai, forget the amount, money is not everything.
4) There is no water within chennai, so even if you are paying 79000 you will still die of thirst.
