Spending the hours of darkness surrounded by New Dehli Airport?
I am flying into DEL from the States and will be arriving at night. I am planning on buying a ticket to return with to Goa for the next morning and be hoping to stay the night within the airport so that I don't have to payment for a hotel. Is it ok to stay in the airport for the dark?
Answers: Yup - been in attendance - done that. but if you are looking to freshen up in the morning - beware the toilets are horrendous.
honestly, i wouldnt recommend staying at the airport to anyone.
i would use a B & B - i own used inn (a) delhi & am happy to recommend them. slow to nouns site, i had to press liven up ( F5) for it to load completely - but upright hosts & its safe. if i be you - i would pay to sleep comfortably anywhere fairly than sleeping it rough. sleeping at the airport - to save money - is basically not worth it!

It is a bit tricky. At DEL, you may not be allowed to enter the domestic airport if your flight is still too far from current time.
Other than that, I think it okay. Restrooms are not as horrid anymore and you will get food and drinks (coffee, tea etc..). You also return with to watch TV :-) yes, it's fine.
you could also return with a room in delhi for smaller quantity that US$5, and they probably have resting rooms at the airport itself for terrifically cheap.
