Answers: I think 2-3 days will be adequate to visit Nainital.There are lots of places contained by nainittal to visit as Saat taal, Naukuchiatal, Bhim taal,naina Devi temple, China Peak, Naini lagoon, Mall road,Kanchi Devi temple etc.
Also you can go to Ranikhet which is at a distance of 54 Kms. frm Nainital & Almora distant 64 Kms frm Nainital. Both are attractive hill stations of Uttranchal. more info something like tourist destinations in these cities you can find at:

There are abundant beautiful places to look in, you may like to dance for trekking and enjoy boating surrounded by the lake. It should be minimum10 days to two weeks, I muse.
