Anyone know of a supermarket surrounded by Delhi, I am surrounded by South Ex cut II- Would appreciate someone to show me the ropes
Just panicking that individuals will take pre-eminence, even though I am asian I probably still stand out - so far I have ring back home to UK and wouldn't provide them the money until they showed me the read out on their meter. Please HELP!! If someone could give me tips/pointers - What is ironic is I speak their tongue fairly fluently - but am other on my guard- is that paranoia or me just man careful - I am not one tight - just don't similar to being taken ascendancy of
Answers: Don't know also any supermarket in South Ex, even though small super started to spread surrounded by my area (Lajpat Nagar) and probably within your neighborhood also.
Anyway, if you can speak Hindi, why don't you just try to receive used to local bazaars, street stalls and small shops? Most artefact have their price written on it (and the paper date for food), so you can easily check. To buy fresh food, ask your neighbors, fellow students or colleagues to donate you an idea of the price gamut.
Little by little you will get used to local market and become more confident. Have a nice time in Delhi!
