Forty-five people be injured, none of them seriously, when a Kerala State Transport Corporation (KSRTC) bus overturned after hitting the median near Edappally High School.
The injured be taken to the MAJ, Medical Centre and Lissy hospitals immediately, the police said.
A crane be brought to remove the bus and restore normal traffic on the busy highway.
The bus, a fast-passenger service to Thrissur from Ernakulam, met next to the accident around 6 p.m., the police said.
