Accomodation in close proximity Jog Falls.?
Hi..Plz tell me gud accomodation for 2 days(5 frnds-boys+girls) effective Jog falls with phone numbers.
Also if some one go there from Bangalore..plz bring up to date which are the other intresting places n which mode is better own transport from Bangalore ar Train till shimoga and cab from in attendance or Government tours.as i m facing problems in finding fully clad accomodation there.

The best place to stay in the vicinity Jog Falls is Gokarna. Its the nearest place which has tourists and it is an amazing place.
To bring there from Jog Falls you can grasp a 3 daily bus to Karwar from the bus stand which take 2 and a half hours and costs 38 rupees (about 50p/$1). From Karwar you bring back a 3 daily bus to Gokarna which take an hour and costs 22 rupees (about 30p/$0.60).
Your other option which is what i did is to rent out a moped from Gokarna (about lb2/$4) a daytime. Petrol is 40p/$0.80 a litre. You can get to Jog Falls surrounded by a moped but you have to be tolerant as Indian road signs are occasionally wrong and you can find yourself lost!! But its all member of the adventure.
Gokarna (Cow's Ear) is a really great place. Its one of the most sanctified sites in South India and have a great atmosphere. Its a sleepy, charming town with wooden houses on the largest street and attrative traditional houses in contiguous alleys.
Gokarna is the new place to turn for the travellers who are fed up beside the overcrowdedness of Goa and even has beach to rival its neighbour.
A 15 minute walk from Gokarna or a 150 rupee (lb2/$4) tuk tuk ride will pinch you to Om beach which is a gorgeous seaside which is so uniquely different. You have a couple of shacks near serving food and drinks. Its usually deserted apart from on Indian holidays.
In Gokarna i HIGHLY RECOMMEND the Hotel Gokarna International Hotel. Its an air-conditioned hotel which is classy and has behaviour. Its well organized and modern and adjectives rooms have a porch and TV. A single room is 195 rupees (lb2.40/$4.80), a double room is 230 rupees (lb2.80/$5.60), and a triple room is 300 rupees (lb3.60/$7.20)
You can get a Deluxe bus to Bangalore which costs 300 rupees (lb3.50/$7) and take 12 hours.
Or you can get a train from Gokarna Road Train station which is 9km from town. This will cost you 100 rupees (lb1.20/$2.40) surrounded by a tuk tuk to get near from Gokarna. Or you can get an hourly bus which costs 6 rupees (10p/$0.20)
