Answers: In India gypsies are prearranged as Banjaras.
They may have originate from outside India. But their main traits has be that they are always on the step. They are a bunch of very firm working people. Almost partially a century ago i have see them working as blacksmiths, repairing household items for the villagers, raising greyhounds, travelling within small caravans beside camel drawn vehicles or wagon. GPS : Global Positioning System is used to navigate with the aid of map. India does have the technolgy contained by one or two cities.
But it won't come handy. The best way to navigate contained by India is to contact the tourist company which will show you the attractions of the city.
If you want to go on your own takea private hackney cab or auto riksha and have the address handy and let somebody know them to drop at particular place.
